Target Audience

This extension course is aimed at individuals who work in classrooms, in both formal and informal settings, and who are interested in broadening their perspectives on the future of educators in society, the rights and duties of children and adolescents, managers, and minorities within the educational context, how to handle conflict situations in the school environment, notions of infractions, and contracts as a society in the field of education.

Justification

The course "The Science of Law in Education" is an academic discipline that explores the relationships between the legal system and the educational field. It addresses a series of complex issues related to the rights and responsibilities of those involved in the educational environment, from students and teachers to administrators and regulatory bodies.

General Objective

The "Training: The Science of Law in Education and Its Nuances" aims to align educational legislation concerning programs and guidelines focused on the study of Human Rights as a science, clarifying that everyone has rights and these come with corresponding duties, through information and techniques that empower participants, resulting in effective strategies and the development of workshops, projects, and activities with students in the classroom on the themes of citizenship, rights, and the state.

Specific Objectives

It also aims to map and give voice to managers, to collaboratively implement the current legislation, especially those contained in the contemporary cross-cutting themes present in the macro-area of citizenship and civics, CRFB/88, ECA, Penal Code, CDC, Environmental Code, Anti-Bullying Laws, among others, using language appropriate for elementary and high school students.

  • Family and blood and non-blood relations;
  • Woman / Abortion: Provisions in legislation;
  • ECA - Statute of the Child and Adolescent;
  • Family Law;
  • What is Family? When and where did it originate;
  • Succession;
  • Marriages and family relationships;
  • Contracts;
  • Pregnancy-related support;
  • Right to privacy, Image rights, and students in relation to social media, Copyright, Plagiarism in the academic world. How much can a teacher copy? Can they require students to buy a book?
  • Personal Data;
  • Relationship between Personal Data and emotional state.

  • State: Rights and Duties;
  • Structure: States and Municipalities;
  • Public Positions – what they are, how to occupy them (demonstrating that participation in society goes beyond voting. Discuss Associations, Parties, provide examples);
  • Crimes: What is a crime;
  • Crime Typology;
  • Criminal penalties in adolescence (punishment, handcuffs, incarceration, detention centers, and socio-educational centers);
  • Drugs: effects and consequences under the law (Difference between use and trafficking);
  • Drugs: how teachers should act with students;
  • Environmental law: Crimes;
  • Environment – Natural and artificial (Classification);
  • Mediation and conflicts Process and principles;
  • Police Station;
  • Special Courts;
  • How to use this tool for education and internal conflicts in schools.

Module 3 - Career

  • The student is now able to discuss work. They have an understanding of rights and duties, their place in society, what the State is, types of crimes, and how to resolve them;
  • Types of Employment Contracts: Vacation, 13th Salary, FGTS;
  • CTPS;
  • CNPJ / Legal Entity;
  • Law and the Enem. (In the last 12 years, the essay topics have directly involved themes related to Law);
  • Consumer rights: Deadline;
  • Defect in the product;
  • Online purchases;
