Abel Corrêa de Souza

Doctor in Business Sciences from Universidad Del Museo Social Argentino (UMSA), Master in Socioeconomic Development from Unesc, and Master in Business Management and Professional Training for Latin American Integration from Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales Y Sociales (Uces). He holds a specialization in Marketing and in Economic and Production Engineering from Unesc, a specialization in Business Administration from União das Faculdades de Criciúma (Unifacri), and a degree in Mathematics from UFSC. He is a member of the Research Group on Strategy, Competitiveness, and Development - GEComD and is a full professor in the Business Administration program at Unesc. 

Abel has experience in the field of Administration, with an emphasis on Financial Administration, Investment Analysis, Entrepreneurship, and Business Plans. He teaches in graduate-level specialization courses on the following topics: Financial Management, Economic and Financial Analysis (Investment Analysis), Negotiation, Decision-Making Process, Strategic Cost Management, Entrepreneurship, and Business Plans. 

He coordinates the Small Entrepreneur Guidance Program (Pope) and Extension Projects at Unesc. He is also a representative of Unesc in the ODS Strategy, being a scholar of the Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030 and the SDGs) and their application as a practice of Corporate Social Responsibility.
