The meeting will take place on October 27 and is aimed at workers in the food sector, freelancers, and other interested parties.
The Nutrition course at Unesc Araranguá is hosting a free course titled "Good Practices in Food Handling" on October 27 at 2 PM. The event will be held at the Araranguá Unit and will cover food and beverage safety, hygiene, and storage.
The meeting is intended for individuals who work with food handling in restaurants, bakeries, snack bars, supermarkets, and other establishments. Freelancers who produce and sell food, as well as those interested in expanding their knowledge about food hygiene and preservation, are also welcome to participate.
The aim is to guide participants on practices that should be part of the routine for those who prepare, store, and sell food, contributing to the quality of the products offered to consumers.
The coordinator of the Nutrition course at Unesc Araranguá, Professor Edimar Zanoni, emphasizes that collective feeding is one of the areas of expertise for nutritionists and involves different segments. "This topic is broad because any place that produces and sells food needs to understand and implement hygiene, handling, and preservation practices. This knowledge is essential for both those working in establishments and those who operate independently," he states.
