The Art in School Program at Unesc held its final meeting for the ongoing training of Art teachers from the Municipal Public Network of Araranguá on October 8. With the theme "Visit, Observe, and Create: Strategies for Teaching Art in Virtual Environments," it concluded the series of training sessions developed throughout the year.
The session was led by Professor Leila Laís Gonçalves, who presented the pedagogical possibilities of digital technologies in Art education, particularly through virtual visits to museums and cultural spaces.
"Participants explored digital environments of institutions such as the Pinacoteca de São Paulo, reflecting on access to art in the classroom. Additionally, they used Padlet as a logbook to record impressions and create pedagogical proposals," explained the instructor.
Following this, the teachers visited the Sculpture and Ceramics laboratories, where they learned about different materials and artistic creation processes, including various types of clay and natural elements used in sculptural and ceramic practices.
During the tour, the group also visited the "Terrarium for Odete Calderan," a memorial space dedicated to artist and professor Odete Angelina Calderan, connecting with the memory and legacy of the artist and highlighting the importance of preserving artistic trajectories and their contributions to Art education.
“The morning integrated digital resources, creation, and pedagogical practices, reaffirming the program's commitment to ongoing training and the dialogue between the University and basic education," emphasizes the program coordinator, Luiz Gustavo Bieberbach Engroff.
